You can trace the history of The Zeds back decades.  Brothers Craig and Lee Jenkins have played in bands together since they were in their teens.  Many of these bands came and went, and the pair went off to play in other bands before reforming in The Zeds in 2017.

Drummer Colin Parsons joined a band called The Dead Zeds over 15 years ago, and played with Craig Jenkins and his best friend Matt Harvey for several years. The Dead Zeds wrote and and recorded their own songs, and toured all over the country before moving into the cover band scene. The band eventually broke up, and Matt sadly passed away… This pushed Craig, Colin, and Lee to form The Zeds – playing pubs, clubs and private events across Wales and the South West and organising and headlining the yearly “Matt Fest” festival in honour of their fallen friend and band mate.

Something was missing though, and it was not until Steven Hall joined the band on bass in 2019 that The Zeds felt complete. Steve brought his experience and professionalism to the band, and his enthusiasm pushed The Zeds to massively expand their set. They now cover a wide variety of musical genres meaning that they can play a mixture of recent popular hits for private weddings, a full on rock set at a biker weekend, or a mixture of both at a corporate party at a large prestige car dealership.
